You probably already know the basics of revision (reading and re-writing class notes) but here are five revision tips that might make revision a little more interesting and enjoyable this Easter.

Hire a home tutor
If you find it hard to discipline yourself when it comes to revision then a home tutor could be a good idea. They will help you keep focussed and ensure you know exactly what you’re doing. It might not be the most fun way of revising, but a good home tutor should make revision as interesting as possible and will help you put to use all the best revision tips.

Revise with your friends
An excellent way to engage yourself with revision is to meet up with some friends and discuss topics together. You can take it in turns to test each other and come up with summaries you think are most appropriate, as a group. Doing all your revision this way probably isn’t practical (as it’s easy to get distracted with gossip after an hour or so) but adding it into your revision timetable can be enjoyable.

Reward yourself with things you love
Keep yourself motivated by setting yourself goals throughout your revision hours. If you complete a practice paper, or you’ve spent an hour reading on a certain topic, reward yourself with a quick break to play on your games console or catch up on Facebook.

Make revision fun (and funny)
Lastly, be imaginative. Try and make revision as fun as possible by being creative. Why don’t you make a rap out of those historical dates you need to remember? It doesn’t have to be great musically, but the comedic factor will help you keep things in your memory! Need to remember some Shakespeare quotes? Mentally assign one that relates to each member of your family and your friends.

Go on a revision holiday
If you’re dedicated to your revision there are plenty of courses and revision camps available across the country to aid you with your pre-exam studies. Revision courses can consist of one-day or week long tutoring with other eager pupils. The atmosphere will be more relaxed the school, with no uniforms necessary and lots of breaks to help you concentrate. It’s a nice chance to meet new people in your local area too.

PasTest have over 30 years of experience providing revision textbooks, courses and online revision tools to support you throughout your medical career. Whether you’re a medical student, panicking about MRCP, or preparing for CCT and your consultant interview we should be the first place you turn. This is what we do. And it’s all we do. We’re not juggling organising a course with a busy clinical practice or checking our emails when we get a spare half an hour at the end of the day. This commitment to our customers and their medical careers is what makes us the best.

As healthcare organisations seek to enhance safety and quality in a changing environment, organisational learning practices can help to improve existing skills and knowledge and provide opportunities to discover better ways of working together. Leadership at executive, middle management, and local levels is needed to create a sense of shared purpose. Healthcare executive leadership has gone global.

Many diabetics do not understand the importance of the care of their feet and how that care can affect their health. Diabetes causes a condition of painful nerve damage called peripheral neuropathy. Your entire body may be affected by this neuropathy, but most often the legs and feet are the area’s most prone to have the worst of symptoms. Damage to the nerves can cause the loss of feeling in your feet. One cannot easily detect cold or hot, neither can you feel pain as easily or readily as someone who does not have diabetes. This is why diabetics get infections so frequently from something like a simple small cut on the foot. When a person is unable to feel the cut, they do not realize it is there. With no first aid, that cut can easily become infected.

Another symptom that afflicts those with diabetes is poor circulation. A good blood circulation is known to aid your body in all healing processes, so when it becomes sluggish, it takes longer for any injuries to your feet to heal. This is the reason that you need to inspect your feet each day for any sort of scrapes or cuts, and be sure you are also very careful in keeping your toenails trimmed. Trimming of the toenails aids in the avoidance of ingrown toenails. Also of note here, please do not attempt to trim any sort of callus or corn from your feet. Leave this sensitive job for your health care provider to do.

Prevention is oftentimes the best key to good health for diabetics. Make sure you always wear socks and shoes that do not in any way irritate, bind, or rub your feet. Avoid going barefoot. Going barefoot is one of the easiest ways to injure a foot. Be on the lookout for any extremes of cold or heat on your feet. Nerve damage may prevent you from accurately judging the temperature of many things that your feet may come into contact with. If you are a diabetic, it is never considered to be too late to begin taking care of your feet. In just a few minutes of your day, you can have a big effect on how well your feet will be able to keep you walking comfortably into your future.

To become employed in the health care field the first step is to complete the education required in the medical field you have chosen. There are many health care employers searching for qualified people and there is projected growth for the health care industry.

One health care related job is that of a pharmacy technician. There are many benefits to working in a pharmacy. If you have had a prescription filled, you will have noted that the pharmacy technician appointed the prescription and prepared it for being dispensed, and also being responsible for transfer of the medicines to the customer. A person can prepare for employment as a technician under a trained pharmacist by obtaining a certificate. Obtaining a certificate requires classes and graduating in approximately six to eight months.

There may be other tasks required when employed as a pharmacy technician and that is decided by the employer. Researching the practices used by the pharmacy along with learning how to read, support in filling and distributing the prescription drugs are all part of the job. In addition, some employers will require computer data entry and insurance filing for customers.

Some areas to consider for studying would be drug interactions and side effects, and medications and their usage. Even though patient’s questions are always directed to the pharmacist, the pharmacist technician must have a general knowledge of the process.

The Department of Labor Statistics has indicated that this is an area that will grow considering the numbers of the senior population and its prediction to grow. Prescriptions are necessary and important to the elderly to retain a quality of life. Plus the drug companies are putting out new medicines to help cure health problems all the time. This type of job is secure and the pay scale is good. It is a good place to start in the field of health care.

These can be depressing, but science has always found a way to understand our body fell from debilitating conditions our. Physiotherapy can be a cure for those individuals who have physical disorders and other illnesses relating to limited body movement and function. Commonly known as physical therapy, this health profession aims to bring a normal and balanced experience of people who find it incapable to move and function freely due to limitations in their physical conditions.

Where to Get Help
Physiotherapy treatment is always readily available in hospitals and other medical facilities such as rehabilitation centers. But a patient needs to have his condition diagnosed by the doctor in order to get the most appropriate physical therapy program. Moreover, the individual will be endorsed to the right physical therapist of a specialized area based on the person’s condition.

Online pharmacies offer a number of benefits if you buy prescription drugs often. If you’re Internet savvy or know someone who is, it’s worth the time and effort to get familiar with online pharmacies.

Time Saver for Busy Schedules

With today’s busy schedules, sitting for an hour or more to wait on your prescription to be filled is no picnic. Between work and family life, you might be pressed for time. If you need prescription refills often, you would benefit tremendously by ordering from an online pharmacy. You can order your prescription refills online at work or home and in only a few moments. It is shipped to you by mail, so you never have to leave the house!

Money Saver

You can also save money by shopping at an online pharmacy . Online pharmacies have very little overhead. Unlike a local pharmacy, the online pharmacy owner doesn’t have to pay high building rent and utility payments each month, and they don’t have to pay many employees to operate the store. They can easily have a one-to-three person operation online.

Convenient Alternative

Online pharmacies provide a convenient alternative for those who are bed-ridden or unable to drive to the local pharmacy for their prescription medications. They can now order their prescription drugs or get refills online and have them shipped directly to their home. If you are in this situation and do not have online access, your caretaker or a family member can order the prescription medicines for you. It will save you and your caretaker time and money.

Wide Selection of Medicines

Online pharmacies offer many categories of medicines, including allergies, anti-depressants, anti-parasitic, antibiotics, headache, heartburn, anti-viral, arthritis, blood pressure, anxiety, birth control, men’s health, weight loss, pain relief, and many others. They offer many different brands and generic drugs as well. You can buy Soma, Tramadol, Viagra and other popular medications at great prices.

Privacy and Anonymity

You can ask an online pharmacist questions that you wouldn’t want to ask in person without the embarrassment. Online pharmacists are there to help, and you can easily ask questions by email or phone from the privacy of your home.

Choosing an Online Pharmacy

Finding the online pharmacy that’s right for you is easy with a little research. An important step is to check with the Better Business Bureau online to be sure the company hasn’t had a lot of customer service complaints. Also, be sure the online pharmacy is licensed to practice in the country where it is located and where it is selling to as well. Check for customer references if you still want to know more about the company’s service.

Natcol.com is the online chemist that is open 24 hours a day to meet the needs of customers that are unable to access conventional shops for their health and beauty products. They aim to provide cheaper prices than most conventional shops as well. Their operation is driven with an ethos of giving customers value for money, informed choice and great customer service. As a fully functional pharmacy, they are able to offer full prescription medicine services, alongside their lines of over the counter drugs, general healthcare products, nutritional supplements and much much more. Of course, the added benefit of being online is that you can place your order with them twenty four hours a day, seven days a week*. We currently offer over 70,000 individual products to all corners of the UK, and beyond. If you would like any further information, contact their internet pharmacy team.

There are so many elements of everyday living that are absolutely torturous for your feet. Standing all day, too-small shoes, stuffy boots, and exposing them to the locker room floor at your local gym are examples of scenarios to which most women can relate. Feet are often taken for granted until they start to hurt and reject the burdens you place on them, so think of taking care of your feet now as an investment against problems in the future.

If you’ve ever had a professional pedicure, you know how amazing it feels to have your feet taken care of: soaking, exfoliation, moisturizing and maybe even massage. The best part is you can recreate this experience at home with only a small investment of time, money, and resources.

Begin by removing any old nail polish with a remover-soaked cotton swab and then soaking your feet in a tub of relaxing, hot water. Toss in some bath or Epsom salts to increase the pleasant feeling. If you have a home foot bath with bubbles or jets, that’s even better. Soak for at least five to ten minutes; the heat will promote blood circulation in your feet and soften your skin and you can use the time to read, watch television or just lean back and relax.

When you’re done soaking, use a small brush to buff one foot at a time, removing dead skin and softening your feet. Let each foot go back into the water after you’ve finished brushing.

Use a dollop of foot scrub lotion (available at any department or drug store) to further soften any rough spots like your heels or the sides of your toes. When you’ve massaged the lotion into your feet, take a pumice stone to finish off any lingering rough skin. This is a great tool, so take your time and rinse your feet when you’re done.

Feeling good by now? There’s more. Remove your feet from the water and dry them with a soft towel. Rub your feet with some of your favorite lotion. A peppermint lotion may be particularly soothing and relaxing, especially if you have willing partner to handle this step for you. Either way, it feels marvelous.

After you’ve finished massaging your feet, it’s time to add a little style. Trim and shape your nails with clippers and a file, and then use a cuticle stick to gently push back your supple cuticles. If you have a cuticle trimmer, you may want to scale away excess cuticle skin, although it’s imperative to do this carefully to avoid damaging the cuticle.

Once your cuticles are under control, you will want to even out the surface of your nail by applying a clear or opaque base coat. This will help hide any ridges or lumpy areas that might show up if you applied nail color directly to the affected area. When the base coat is dry, add a coat of your favorite nail color. Choose something soft and light for a conservative look or something bold and daring for more flair. Whatever your choice, it’s a good idea to apply several coats to improve the durability of your finish. Clean up any messy areas as you go, using a small cloth or cotton swab dipped in nail polish remover to dissolve stains that may have been deposited around the edges of your toe nail. An additional coat of clear sealer will prevent chips and scuff marks from harming your pedicure masterpiece.

That’s it! You’re ready to strap on a pair of open-toe sandals or to pad around the house in your bare, and very fashionable, flattering feet.

Looking pretty is one element of great feet. The other part is keeping your feet healthy. Wear supportive, well-fitted shoes, wash and dry your feet carefully to avoid fungal and bacterial problems, and mention any significant problems, such as cuts and scrapes on your feet not healing well as that could indicate a more serious problem such as diabetes.
